Unleash Your Thin Results: Week 3
March 15th, 2013
Weight: lost 0.5 lb this week, 14.5 lb total in 3 weeks
Measurements: no change this week, total lost 2 inches from waist and 1/4 inch from hips
I’m fine with this. I lost tons of weight in the first two weeks and I think it’s natural that my body wants to slow down and take a breath.
I stuck to the plan with one tiny exception, despite having two lunches in restaurants. I ate salad both times.I was happy with that. I felt completely satisfied even though one time everybody around me was eating pizza and cheesecake. Their food smelled good but when I really thought about it, I knew that I didn’t want to eat it and get back into all of that.

What Causes Binge Eating?
Everybody seems to think that psychological and emotional issues are what causes binge eating. I don’t agree.
I know that most people concentrate on the psychological issues including well known writers that I have a lot of respect for, like Geneen Roth. And it’s obviously true that psychological pressures like stress, grief or loneliness can trigger a food binge in somebody who is susceptible to them. But a different person would respond to the exact same pressures with some other form of compensation – something else that makes them feel better. Weight: lost 5.5 pounds this week, total 14 pounds in 2 weeks (amazing!)
Measurements:
Waist: lost 1 inch this week, 2 inches in 2 weeks
Hips: lost a quarter inch this week, 0.25 inches in 2 weeks, those hips are stubborn!
Body fat: reduced by 2.3% total in 2 weeks
