Metabolic Fire Review

Metabolic Fire and meIf you’ve been looking for Metabolic Fire reviews from real people who’ve actually tried this new weight loss supplement, then you’ve found what you need, because I’ve been taking it for the past 3 weeks. If you read on, I’ll tell you how I got along.

I’m not a big fan of diet pills, but since these were all natural, with no caffeine, and designed especially for the 40+ age group, I agreed to review them and ordered myself a sample bottle.

The product came from Natural Health Sherpa (called Sherpa Formulas on the bottle), a company that I’ve bought from before and know I can trust.

So in this review I’ll tell you what’s in them (and what’s not). I’ll cover a minor side effect that I experienced, and let you know if they worked for me, after taking them for 3 weeks. I’ll also tell you what else you need to know if you’re going to be able to lose weight with them. Because that’s the big question, right?

What’s In This Product?

The ingredients of Metabolic Fire are billed as 100% natural. According to the label, these are the ingredients in one dose of 2 capsules:
Metabolic Fire label
Chromium (picolinate), 400 mcg (333% DV) – a mineral that is found in some multivitamin supplements and is often supplemented more for people who need to lose weight. Interacts with insulin to help prevent fat being created and stored in the body.

Iodine (potassium iodide), 200 mcg (133% DV) – reported to help with thyroid issues that can contribute to weight loss or gain.

Coleus Forskohili root, 200 mg – an ancient Asian plant extract, used to release stored fat from cells.

Green Tea Extract (decaffeinated), 175 mg – containing polyphenols to help boost the metabolism and burn fat.

Metabolic Fire bottleGreen Coffee Bean Extract*, 300 mg – reported to reduce sugar absorption from food, so you store less fat.

Cinnamon Bark Extract, 100 mg – believed to help regularize blood sugar and insulin levels, preventing the body from storing too much fat.

Irvingia Gabonensis Seed Extract, 150 mg – this is the scientific name for the African Mango extract that was a recent weight loss sensation in the news. It’s marketed as an appetite suppressant.

Rhodiola Rosea Root, 250 mg – reported to reduce the stress hormone cortisol which makes the body store fat. Cortisol is believed to trigger binge eating and emotional eating.

* I am sensitive to caffeine (one cup of coffee gives me a racing heart and keeps me awake at night even if I drink it after lunch) so I would never take a supplement that contained caffeine. Many “metabolic” diet pills do contain caffeine in one form or another and I was suspicious of the decaffeinated green tea extract and green coffee bean extract in Metabolic Fire. But I’m pleased to report absolutely no palpitations and I think the formula genuinely is extremely low or caffeine-free.
Metabolic Fire capsules
It comes in capsules – easier to swallow than tablets. The capsules are size 00 (23 mm long) and they’re made of modified cellulose with rice flour, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide as non-active ingredients. There’s no allergy information on the bottle but as far as I know, none of the ingredients contain lactose, gluten or wheat. I’m lactose-intolerant and I was fine with them.

Does It Work?

According to the official website, Metabolic Fire works by keeping your appetite down while freeing up 3 fat burning pathways to help you trim down and lose weight.

I definitely did experience a reduction in cravings for unhealthy food. I found it much easier to stick to my regular low carb diet when I was taking this natural weight loss supplement. If I forgot to take it for a couple of days, the cravings came back, so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t just a random coincidence. I did lose weight, too – 6lb in 3 weeks, which may not sound like much, but I don’t have much to lose.

Sidenote: It took 4 or 5 days before I noticed I was finding it easier to keep to my planned three meals and one snack – so don’t expect to feel the full effects on day one.

Sidenote #2: I can’t make any guarantees about whether this will work for you. I don’t know any more than what’s on the official website, where they say the formula has been designed by a doctor (Dr Dean Raffelock – pictured) with many years’ clinical experience of real patients.

What About Metabolic Fire Side Effects?

I can only talk about what I’ve experienced myself here. Run the ingredients by your doctor if you have concerns. The only side effect I’ve noticed is that sometimes I get a slight repeating taste of cinnamon after taking them. That might put you off if you hate cinnamon. But if you like cinnamon, it’s actually quite pleasant.

How To Lose Weight With This Product

If you decide to try Metabolic Fire, you’ll take it between meals, not with meals. They recommend 2 capsules between breakfast and lunch, and 2 between lunch and dinner.

At the same time, you’ll need to be following some kind of healthy weight loss diet. This is not for people who are looking for a magic pill to help them lose weight while still consuming 5,000 calories a day (sadly, there isn’t one!) It’s designed to help you burn more fat and reduce cravings, and eat healthier at the same time.

I find a low carb diet plan works best, but if you don’t like low carb you could follow any diet. If you’re like me, you’ve dieted in the past and you know what works for you – if only you could keep to it! Metabolic Fire should help you stick to that plan.

It’s been designed for the 40+ age group because we find it harder to burn fat as we get older. I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work for younger people too, but you might need less.

Diet products that work are never cheap, and this is no exception. However, I often only took 2 in the morning, and I found they still had a good effect. So you may find you don’t need the full dosage, and then your supplies will last longer. But I do recommend taking the full 4 capsules per day for at least the first week, to kick start your weight loss.

Where To Buy, Shipping, Discounts

Currently, this product is only available from the official website (see link at the end of this Metabolic Fire review). At the time of writing, they’re offering a 29% saving on the cost of one bottle, with bigger discounts if you offer more.

Click on the link below to see the pricing details. Shipping costs vary depending on your country – it’s cheapest for US and Canada. For US customers only, there’s a repeat order option with free shipping. EU shipping costs are high because they include the VAT which companies in other countries are now required to charge.

You’ll save more on shipping and the product itself if you order more than one bottle. Keep in mind, I found I only needed half of the recommended dose after the first week, and if you’re the same, the bottles will last you longer than the manufacturers say.

Is Metabolic Fire Right For You?

As I said, this is not a magic pill and you’ll need to be prepared to pay some attention to what you eat. But if you’re looking for an all-natural diet supplement to help you burn fat and boost your metabolism, while reducing cravings to help you stick to your diet, then I think Metabolic Fire could be the right choice for you. It works for me.

It contains magnesium stearate. This resembles soap scum and inhibits absorption. People use it to make the machines, that fill the capsules, run better. We’re not machines. I am allergic to magnesium stearate. It dries out my eyes so badly that if I try to open them when I have been asleep, it is excruciatingly painful. It also dries out my skin and makes it itch. Although they claim it is a natural substance, it’s not, and some leaders in the healthy movement have spoken out against it. There is an epidemic of dry eyes in the population. I wonder if that is the reason. They need to take that TRASH out of the product. Rice flour works just as well, and it doesn’t cause those problems.

Hi Pat, sorry to hear you’re allergic. I don’t think magnesium stearate can be dangerous to the general population because it’s used in baby formulas: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium_stearate
but I do appreciate it causes you problems. Minerals are odd things. They can cause issues, but at the same time, we need them in certain quantities and combinations.

I am still on my first bottle of MF and I ordered the Whey powder too. I have seen a marked difference in my hunger cravings, and I have more energy. I never wanted to exercise but find myself enjoying a daily walk and going further every day. I am 71 years old and along with books that accompany the products I feel my mindset to achieve the weight loss has intensified. I look forward to having healthy foods, and keeping my portions under control. I have lost 5 kg in couple of weeks and feel very healthy and happy and satisfied with my results although the cost is a tad high for me being on a pension. My anxiety symptoms are much better. I would endorse this product even at this early stage.
